Job Description:

The Senior Supervisor / Site Engineer – Electrical is responsible for on-site execution, supervision, and coordination of electrical infrastructure projects including UPS systems, generators, ATS panels, LV panels, earthing systems, and power distribution networks within Data Center and mission-critical environments.

This role ensures timely, safe, and quality-controlled project execution at site level while coordinating with Project Managers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal technical teams. The position requires strong technical command, team supervision skills, and nationwide mobility.

This is a field-intensive role requiring regular travel across Pakistan as per project requirements.

Job Location: Head Office, Islamabad

Travel Requirement: Frequent travel to Project/Client sites across Pakistan (Mandatory as per business needs)

Job Requirements

  • Base Qualifications:
    • Diploma
    • Master Degree
    • Graduate

    Skills & Tools:

    Educational Qualifications

    • BS Electrical Engineering (Preferred)

      OR

    • DAE Electrical (with 7–10 years strong site exposure)

    PEC Registration preferred for engineers.

    Certifications (Preferred)

    • IOSH / Basic HSE Certification

    • OEM training on UPS/Generator systems

    • AutoCAD basic proficiency

    • Electrical testing equipment handling certification

    Technical Skills:

    • Power distribution installation knowledge

    • Electrical troubleshooting

    • Cable termination standards

    • Testing & commissioning assistance

    Operational Skills:

    • Manpower planning

    • Time management

    • Vendor coordination

    • Multi-site handling

    Systems Skills:

    • ERP familiarity (Odoo preferred)

    • MS Excel (basic to intermediate)

    • Reporting discipline

    Behavioral Skills:

    • Strong ownership

    • Discipline-driven

    • Pressure handling

    • Willingness to travel nationwide


    Job Experience Required:
    Experience: 5–8 Years (ICT / Data Center / Electrical Infrastructure – Integrator Side)

    Must have:

    • Hands-on experience in UPS, Generators, LV panels

    • Exposure to Data Center / critical infrastructure

    • Experience working on vendor/integrator side

    • Strong site coordination exposure

Duties & Responsibilities

  • 1. Site Execution & Installation Supervision

    • Supervise electrical installations as per approved drawings and BOQs.

    • Execute installation of:

      • UPS systems & battery banks

      • Diesel generators

      • ATS & synchronization panels

      • LV panels / MDB / SMDB

      • Cable trays & power cabling

      • Earthing & lightning protection systems

    • Ensure proper routing, termination, and labeling of cables.

    • Verify installation quality before inspection.

    • Coordinate testing and commissioning support.

    2. Technical Drawing & BOQ Interpretation

    • Read and interpret SLDs and layout drawings.

    • Cross-check site conditions against design drawings.

    • Highlight technical deviations to Project Manager.

    • Verify cable sizing and breaker ratings.

    • Assist in as-built drawing preparation.

    3. Workforce & Subcontractor Supervision

    • Lead technicians and helpers at site.

    • Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity.

    • Supervise subcontractor execution.

    • Conduct toolbox talks.

    • Ensure discipline and safe working practices.

    4. Quality Assurance & HSE Compliance

    • Ensure compliance with electrical standards (IEC/NEC).

    • Maintain QA/QC checklists.

    • Monitor proper crimping, termination, torqueing standards.

    • Ensure proper earthing resistance levels.

    • Enforce PPE compliance.

    • Report safety incidents immediately.

    5. Material Control & ERP Coordination

    • Raise material requisitions in Odoo.

    • Track material consumption vs BOQ.

    • Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.

    • Prevent wastage and theft.

    • Maintain site stock records.

    6. Progress Reporting & Documentation

    • Submit daily progress reports.

    • Update project progress in ERP system.

    • Record manpower attendance.

    • Support measurement for billing milestones.

    • Maintain commissioning and testing records.

    7. Client & Cross-Department Coordination

    • Coordinate with civil, HVAC, and IT teams at site.

    • Attend site meetings when required.

    • Resolve site-level technical issues.

    • Escalate delays and risks to PM/AM.
