Job Title: Trainee Engineer (Electrical)
Job Summary:
The Trainee Engineer will assist in various electrical engineering projects related to data centers, supporting the team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain practical experience and develop their engineering skills within a technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior engineers in executing electrical engineering projects, collaborating with design, construction, and operations teams.
Support the analysis and audits of electrical systems to identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing solutions.
Participate in the preparation of electrical specifications and design criteria for data center projects and retrofits.
Help develop project plans and monitor progress, risks, and schedules as directed by the Assistant Manager and Manager.
Assist in the review and development of Change Management Request (CMR) scripts, contributing to smooth project transitions.
Participate in site visits to data centers, assisting in engineering studies, systems audits, and commissioning activities.
Support the investigation of equipment failures and power outages, participating in Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA) discussions.
Help maintain and update "as-built" documentation and technical drawings as configurations change.
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards during all phases of work.
Utilize engineering software and tools to perform calculations and assist with design tasks.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development through mentorship and hands-on experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Familiarity with engineering software and tools is a plus.
