    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field..
    • Certifications Preferred certifications: AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect, MCSE, VCP, RHCE, or TOGAF.

    Skills and Qualifications:

     Technical Skills:

    Expertise in data center design, including power, cooling, and rack management.

    Strong knowledge of server and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

    Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

    Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring tools.

    Understanding of compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and Tier-level certifications for data centers.

    Soft Skills:

    Exceptional communication, client engagement, and presentation skills.

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

    Leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff'.

    Experience:

    Minimum 8–10 years of experience in data center solutions, IT infrastructure design, and project implementation.

    Hands-on experience in pre-/post-sales activities within the technology solutions industry.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities:

    Solution Design:

    Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze requirements for data center and IT infrastructure solutions.

    Design end-to-end solutions, including power systems, cooling, networking, and server configurations for data centers.

    Develop scalable architectures for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments while ensuring compliance with Fortek standards.

    Data Center and Systems Management:

    Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual server infrastructure in data centers.

    Monitor and optimize data center performance to ensure high availability, uptime, and efficiency.

    Implement robust disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions tailored to client needs.

    Pre-Sales Support:

    Partner with sales teams to identify client challenges and propose tailored data center solutions.

    Conduct technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions for prospective clients.

    Prepare detailed technical proposals, including hardware specifications, power calculations, and cost analyses.

    Post-Sales Support:

    Lead the deployment and integration of data center infrastructure, including servers, UPS systems, and cooling solutions.

    Provide training, technical support, and documentation for client IT teams to ensure seamless operations.

    Ensure successful delivery of projects within defined timelines and quality benchmarks.

    Technology Leadership:

    Evaluate emerging technologies related to data centers, IT infrastructure, and energy-efficient systems to recommend innovative solutions.

    Define best practices and technical standards for data center design and operations.

    Stay updated on trends in cloud computing, virtualization, and automation tools to enhance Fortek’s offerings.

    Collaboration and Mentorship:

    Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including networking, security, and software engineering, to deliver integrated solutions.

    Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in data center design, power systems, and infrastructure solutions.
