Job Description:

• Supervise and oversee civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to plan and execute construction activities effectively.
• Monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project timelines and budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
• Manage and oversee the work of subcontractors and laborers, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, material records, and work schedules.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of construction equipment and machinery.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and concerns.
• Provide regular reporting on project progress, including daily updates, weekly status reports, and monthly summaries.
• Proficient in AutoCAD

    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.

    • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

    • Experience in coordinating and managing subcontractors and laborers.

    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Reporting Responsibilities (Daily, Weekly & Monthly)

  • Daily Reporting:
    • Provide detailed daily progress reports on construction activities, including work completed, issues encountered, and solutions implemented.
    • Document any safety incidents, accidents, or near misses that occur on the construction site.
    • Report on the utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient resource management.
    • Communicate any deviations from the project schedule or budget and propose corrective actions as necessary.

    Weekly Reporting:
    • Compile weekly status reports summarizing progress made on construction projects, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide updates on the status of ongoing tasks, upcoming milestones, and any changes to project timelines or scope.
    • Review manpower and equipment utilization for the week and identify opportunities for optimization.
    • Discuss any emerging issues or risks that may impact project delivery and propose mitigation strategies.

    Monthly Reporting:
    • Prepare comprehensive monthly project summaries detailing overall project progress, accomplishments, and challenges encountered.
    • Analyze key performance indicators, such as project timeline adherence, budget utilization, and quality metrics.
    • Provide insights into trends and patterns observed during the month and recommend actions to improve project performance.
    • Review safety performance metrics and identify opportunities to enhance safety protocols and practices.
    • Present monthly reports to project stakeholders, including clients, management, and project teams, to facilitate informed decision-making and ensure alignment with project objectives.
