Job Description:

The HVAC Senior Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations, and optimizing system performance to maintain operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various HVAC systems and be capable of troubleshooting complex issues while leading and mentoring a skilled workforce.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the following systems:

      • Chilled Water Systems: Centrifugal & reciprocating chillers, chilled water accessories, and control rooftop package units.

      • Air Handling & Ventilation Systems: Air handling units (AHUs), variable air volume (VAV) systems, and smoke exhaust systems.

      • Fresh Air Supply & Cooling Systems: Centralized cooling systems, VRV/VRF cooling systems.


    Required experience:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervision & Operations Management:

    • Oversee HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.

    • Assign and track work orders for technicians, ensuring timely completion.

    • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC system issues.

    • Collaborate with other departments to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.

    • Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and critical spare parts.

    • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.

    • Assist in budget planning and cost control for HVAC operations.

    • Stay updated on emerging HVAC technologies and industry best practices.

    Compliance & Safety:

    • Ensure all HVAC work adheres to safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment.

    • Train staff on proper HVAC procedures, including safety measures and regulatory compliance.
