Job Description:

The Quality Manager – QEHS will oversee and ensure the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality standards across operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with QEHS regulations, and fostering a culture of quality excellence within Fortek.

Job Requirements

  • Key Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field..
    • Certifications Preferred certifications: AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect, MCSE, VCP, RHCE, or TOGAF.
    • Graduate

    Key qualifications:

    Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in report writing, data analysis, and QEHS management tools.


    Required experience:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field; certifications in Quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, preferred.)

    Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Quality management

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Quality Management and ISO 9001 Compliance:

    Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001.

    Conduct internal audits as a Lead Auditor to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.

    Establish quality policies, processes, and objectives, ensuring they are effectively communicated and adhered to across the organization.

    Monitor and ensure QMS assurance, including document control, corrective action implementation, and preventive measures.

    Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance:

    Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

    Lead initiatives to improve customer satisfaction by maintaining product and service excellence.

    Regulatory Compliance:

    Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and other relevant regulations.

    Prepare and submit reports required by regulatory authorities and management.

    Leadership and Team Development:

    Lead and mentor the QEHS team to drive a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

    Provide training to enhance awareness of quality standards, risk assessments, and health & safety protocols.

    Risk Management:

    Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential quality and safety risks.

    Implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure a safe and compliant work environment
