The IT Helper will assist the IT department in day-to-day technical support tasks. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing support to end-users, maintaining computer systems and networks, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.

Skills and tools:
Basic understanding of IT best practices.Prior internship or experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Required experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma or degree in IT is a plus).Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and MS Office.Familiarity with LAN/WAN networks and troubleshooting.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and take initiative.Physically fit to move or install IT equipment when required.
Duties & Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support to users regarding hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.Set up user accounts, passwords, and permissions in accordance with IT policies.Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner.Assist with data backup and recovery procedures.Support the IT team in maintaining inventory records of hardware and software.Assist in setting up projectors, video conferencing tools, and other multimedia equipment for meetings and events.Maintain cleanliness and proper cabling of IT equipment.Perform routine checks to ensure systems are operational and up-to-date.Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support staff.
Reporting Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service requests, incidents, and resolutions handled.
Provide regular status updates on ongoing support tickets and IT maintenance activities to the IT Manager.
