The Assistant Manager – Technical (HVAC) is responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems for data centers, commercial, and industrial projects. This role involves supervising project execution, reviewing designs, performing load calculations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4–6 years of relevant HVAC experience are required.

Required experience:
Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the planning, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF, Split Units, Ducting Systems, etc.) for data centers, commercial, and industrial projects.
Conduct load calculations, system design evaluations, and BOQ preparations as per project scope and requirements.
Review HVAC design drawings, technical specifications, and ensure alignment with engineering standards and project deliverables.
Liaise with consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely execution and quality compliance.
Perform root-cause analysis and provide engineering solutions for HVAC system performance issues.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are followed for all HVAC equipment.
Maintain complete documentation, including inspection reports, testing & commissioning reports, and maintenance logs.
Monitor energy consumption and implement efficiency improvements for HVAC systems.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and client-specific requirements.
Reporting Responsibilities

Reports to the GM Technical regarding project progress, issues, and technical matters.
Prepares and submits installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance reports.
Maintains documentation including BOQs, drawings, inspection logs, and compliance records.
Coordinates with consultants, vendors, and contractors and updates management on timelines and quality standards.
