Job Experience Required:
8+ years of project management experience with at least 5 years in IT infrastructure / data center projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
-
1. Project planning & delivery
• Own end-to-end delivery of data center build-outs, expansions, and refresh programs from initiation through completion and handover
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules covering civil, electromechanical, power, and cooling workstreams
• Drive scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality management across all project phases
• Ensure milestone tracking and timely escalation of schedule or scope risks
2. Civil & infrastructure execution
• Coordinate civil works, structural build-out, and electromechanical installation on site
• Oversee power and cooling system deployment — UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH, and associated infrastructure
• Ensure adherence to data center best practices, Uptime Institute tier classifications, and applicable building codes
• Coordinate FAT/SAT, staging, and commissioning activities with site and vendor teams
3. Vendor & contractor management
• Manage vendor and contractor procurement cycles for civil, MEP, and specialized infrastructure works
• Enforce SLA/OLA governance and contractual compliance across all engaged parties
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes and support vendor evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation
• Coordinate with system integrators and specialist SLA-bound service partners to ensure seamless delivery
4. Risk, quality & governance
• Maintain and actively manage RAID logs (risks, actions, issues, decisions) throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead change control processes and document all scope or schedule variations
• Track and report project KPIs, milestones, budgets, and risks to senior stakeholders and steering committees
• Ensure quality assurance checkpoints are completed before each phase gate
5. Stakeholder management & closure
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout project execution
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and steering committees
• Manage project handover, final documentation, and formal project closure
• Drive post-project reviews and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement
6. Team leadership
• Lead and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, and support staff assigned to the project
• Set clear task ownership and accountability across the project team
• Support skills development of junior project staff through on-the-job mentoring

• Inspect site progress and ensure compliance with safety/quality standards.

• Submit consolidated project performance reports.
• Conduct financial review, compliance audits, and quality testing.
• Evaluate team performance and update management on KPIs.
