Job Description:

Fortek is looking for a results-driven Technical Sales Executive – ICT & Infrastructure Solutions who can bridge the gap between technical expertise and client relationship management. This role focuses on identifying business opportunities, engaging clients, and delivering tailored solutions across IT infrastructure, networking, data center technologies, surveillance, and integrated systems.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with sales acumen, enabling them to propose effective solutions, support bid processes, and build long-term client relationships. Experience in enterprise, government, or telecom sector sales will be a strong advantage.

Job Location:

Head Office (Islamabad) with frequent/occasional travel to project sites across Pakistan.

The candidate must be willing to travel frequently to Client Sites across Pakistan as per business requirements.

  • Skills & Tools:

    Educational Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Telecom / IT / Computer Science / Business (with technical exposure)
    • MBA (Marketing/Sales) is a plus

    Certifications (Preferred)

    • CCNA / HCIA (Networking basics)
    • Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Huawei, Fortinet, etc.)
    • Sales certifications (solution selling, consultative selling – plus)
    • CDCP (for data center exposure – plus)

    Technical Knowledge

    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure & enterprise solutions
    • Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switching)
    • Basic knowledge of data centers, surveillance, and AV systems
    • Understanding of integrated solutions including MEP (basic level)

    Sales & Business Skills

    • Strong negotiation and closing skills
    • Ability to manage complex B2B sales cycles
    • Proposal development and tender handling experience
    • Account management and relationship building

    Tools & Software

    • MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • CRM tools (preferred)
    • Basic Visio / presentation tools

    Soft Skills

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building ability
    • Target-driven and self-motivated
    • Problem-solving and analytical thinking

    Job Experience Required:
    • 3–5 years relevant experience in ICT / Data Center / Technology Sales

    • Strong exposure in vendor-side / system integrator environment preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

  • 1. Business Development & Sales Growth

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities across enterprise and public sector clients
    • Generate leads, conduct market research, and build a strong sales pipeline
    • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
    • Develop strategic account plans for key clients
    • Expand business within existing client accounts

    2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management

    • Conduct client meetings to understand technical and business requirements
    • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders
    • Deliver presentations and solution demonstrations
    • Act as a trusted advisor for ICT and infrastructure solutions
    • Ensure high client satisfaction and retention

    3. Technical Solution Selling

    • Collaborate with pre-sales and engineering teams to design customized solutions
    • Present solutions covering IT hardware, networking, data center, surveillance, and MEP-integrated systems
    • Translate technical solutions into business value for clients
    • Assist in preparing technical proposals and solution documents
    • Support solution positioning and competitive differentiation

    4. Proposal Development & Tender Support

    • Contribute to preparation of proposals, BOQs, and compliance documents
    • Support bidding processes for enterprise and public sector projects
    • Coordinate with internal teams for timely submission of tenders
    • Ensure alignment with client requirements and technical standards
    • Follow up on submitted proposals and client feedback

    5. Vendor & OEM Coordination

    • Engage with vendors and OEMs for solution alignment and pricing support
    • Leverage vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing
    • Stay updated on latest technologies, product offerings, and certifications
    • Coordinate demos, POCs, and technical validations
    • Ensure alignment with partner programs and incentives

    6. Sales Reporting & Pipeline Management

    • Maintain CRM records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities
    • Prepare sales forecasts and pipeline reports
    • Track deal progress and ensure timely closures
    • Provide regular updates to management on sales performance
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities
