Job Description:
We are seeking an accomplished and
commercially astute Senior Manager – Networks (Active) to lead our Networks
domain within a high-growth ICT Infrastructure Design & Integration
environment. This is a senior technology leadership position that goes well
beyond individual technical execution: the role provides strategic direction,
architectural governance, and operational accountability across Data Center
active networking, enterprise LAN/WAN, network security, SD-WAN, and Managed
Services/SLA portfolios. The Senior Manager serves as the highest technical
authority within the Networks (Active) domain, leading Managers, Senior
Engineers, and technical resources while engaging directly with C-level and IT
leadership stakeholders on behalf of the organization. The successful candidate will own the
Networks (Active) function end-to-end — from technology strategy and
multi-vendor architecture through major technical presales, complex project
program oversight, SLA/AMC/CMC service governance, and team capability development.
Operating on the vendor/system-integrator side, this role demands the rare
combination of deep technical credibility, strategic commercial acumen,
executive communication capability, and a demonstrated track record of building
and leading high-performance network engineering teams. This is a

shape its roadmap, and drive measurable business impact. Location: Head Office, Islamabad Travel Requirement: Candidate must be willing to travel to Project/Client Sites nationwide as per business requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Strategic Network Deployment Leadership (Data Center Active Infrastructure)
Lead end-to-end deployment of active network infrastructure in Tier II–IV Data Centers.
Oversee implementation of Spine-Leaf and multi-tier DC architectures.
Validate redundancy models (Active-Active / Active-Standby / Clustering).
Lead configuration and commissioning of core, aggregation, and access layers.
Approve technical designs and ensure alignment with project BOQs.
Supervise integration with structured cabling, racks, and power systems.
Ensure commissioning, FAT, SAT, and final client handover compliance.
2. Enterprise & WAN Architecture Integration
Lead deployment of MPLS, SD-WAN, enterprise WAN connectivity.
Architect BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS routing environments.
Implement EVPN-VxLAN and network virtualization technologies.
Integrate hybrid cloud and on-prem connectivity frameworks.
Design scalable architectures for multi-site enterprise deployments.
Oversee bandwidth planning and capacity forecasting.
3. SLA Governance & High Availability Management
Ensure network uptime aligned with contractual SLAs.
Establish SLA monitoring frameworks and KPIs.
Lead major incident management and root cause analysis (RCA).
Develop escalation matrices for critical outages.
Conduct resilience and failover testing.
Drive preventive maintenance strategy for deployed infrastructure.
Ensure service continuity planning and DR readiness.
4. Network Security & Compliance Oversight
Lead implementation of NGFW, IPS/IDS, segmentation policies.
Approve VPN (IPSec/SSL) architecture and secure remote access solutions.
Oversee network hardening and vulnerability mitigation.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and cybersecurity frameworks.
Coordinate audit responses and compliance documentation.
Drive zero-trust and segmentation strategies where applicable.
5. Program & Project Execution Management
Manage multiple data center network projects simultaneously.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (civil, electrical, MEP, IT).
Approve technical change requests and variation orders.
Ensure milestone achievement within defined timelines.
Manage project risks and mitigation plans.
Report project status to senior management and stakeholders.
Oversee resource allocation and deployment planning.
6. Technical Leadership & Team Development
Lead and mentor network engineering teams nationwide.
Establish technical standards and deployment SOPs.
Conduct technical reviews and solution validation.
Guide pre-sales teams on network solution architectures.
Evaluate new technologies and innovation opportunities.
Build succession planning within network teams.
7. Vendor & OEM Management
Act as escalation authority with OEMs and technology partners.
Validate technical compliance of procured equipment.
Participate in solution workshops and vendor negotiations.
Review SLAs and support agreements.
Ensure warranty and AMC compliance.
8. Documentation & Governance Framework
Approve final network topology and architecture documentation.
Ensure configuration management discipline.
Oversee knowledge repository and documentation control.
Establish deployment standards and audit trails.
Ensure structured reporting mechanisms.
