Job Description:
The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring structured execution of Data Center and ICT infrastructure projects across Pakistan. The role bridges planning, site execution, procurement, and management reporting to ensure projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget. This position operates within a system integrator environment, supporting multi-vendor enterprise infrastructure deployments including Active Networks, Servers & Storage, HVAC Systems, Structured Cabling, Power & ELV systems. Head Office (Islamabad) with frequent/occasional travel to project sites across Pakistan.
The candidate must be willing to travel frequently to project sites across Pakistan as per business requirements.Job Location

Certifications (Preferred)
- Primavera P6 or MS Project
- PMP (in progress preferred)

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Technical Solution Design & Architecture
Requirement Analysis: Conduct detailed site visits (when required) and technical discovery sessions with clients to understand their business needs, technical constraints, and future scalability goals.
Multi-Domain Solutioning: Design comprehensive solutions covering IT Hardware (Servers, Storage, PCs/Laptops), Networking (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Fiber Optics), AV & Display Systems, and Drone Solutions (Surveillance/Mapping).
Infrastructure Integration: Develop basic designs for Civil, MEP, and HVAC systems specifically for data center and IT server room builds, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE and TIA-942 standards .
Diagramming: Utilize MS Visio or AutoCAD (basic) to create network topology diagrams, rack elevation drawings, and floor plan layouts for proposals.
2. Commercial & Bid Management (BOQs & Proposals)
BOQ Preparation: Create detailed, error-free Bills of Quantities (BOQs) with accurate costing, margins, and terms & conditions.
Tender Submission: Manage end-to-end tender submissions for PPRA (Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) and large-scale enterprise projects, ensuring 100% compliance with bid documents.
Vendor Coordination: Leverage existing relationships with OEMs and distributors to obtain competitive pricing, negotiate better margins, and source lead times for project-specific requirements.
Compliance Matrix: Prepare "Compliance Statements" and technical deviation lists to ensure transparent communication with clients regarding solution capabilities.
3. Client Engagement & Sales Support
Technical Presentations: Support the sales team by delivering high-impact technical presentations and product demonstrations to C-level executives and technical committees.
Proof of Concept (POC): Coordinate with the delivery/engineering team to set up POCs for complex solutions (e.g., SD-WAN, Surveillance Analytics) to validate the design for the customer.
Pre-sales Handover: Conduct a formal technical handover to the Project Management/Implementation team after contract award, ensuring smooth transition from design to execution.
4. Vendor & Partner Ecosystem Management
Relationship Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned OEMs (e.g., Huawei, Cisco, Dell, APC, Sonnen) to stay updated on new products and end-of-life notifications.
Price Negotiation: Proactively negotiate pricing and special bids with distributors to ensure Fortek’s proposals are the most competitive in the market.
Technology Up-skilling: Regularly attend OEM training sessions to maintain certification levels (e.g., Huawei Certified Pre-sales Associate).
5. Documentation & Reporting (Daily/Weekly)
CRM Updates: Maintain daily logs of opportunities, proposals sent, and technical queries in the company CRM.
Proposal Library: Maintain a repository of standard technical responses, architectural diagrams, and cut-sheets to improve bid turnaround time.
Market Intelligence: Report on competitor pricing and solution trends observed during tenders to the management team.

Coordinate with procurement for pending material deliveries affecting schedule.
Escalate blockers impacting critical path activities to Assistant Manager.

Consolidate weekly progress reports (WPR) for management review.
Review schedule variance with Planning Engineer and identify deviations.
Update risk and issue register with new entries and status changes.
Participate in coordination meetings and document MOM with action items.
Validate vendor compliance with execution timelines.
