Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc/BE Electrical) — required.
• PMP or equivalent project/portfolio management certification is strongly preferred.
• Engineering candidates with strong multi-site leadership track records will be given preference.

Preferred Certifications

• Data Center infrastructure certifications such as CDCP / CTDC (preferred).
• OSHA / NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification for safety governance at portfolio level.
• OEM-issued training/certification on UPS, generator, or panel systems (any recognized manufacturer program).
• PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) registration is a strong plus for engineering-qualified candidates.

• 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in Raw Power / electrical infrastructure works — including generators, transformers, ATS/AMF panels, UPS systems, cooling system electricals, and cable tray/cable laying installations — including demonstrated experience leading teams and/or overall project supervision, preferably gained within the ICT infrastructure, systems integration, data center, or managed services (SLA) industry on the vendor/integrator side. Proven exposure to multi-site supervision, vendor coordination, and site-level project ownership is strongly preferred.

1. Generator & Transformer Installation and Maintenance

• Lead the installation, commissioning, and lifecycle maintenance of diesel generators and transformers across project and client sites.
• Oversee load-bank testing, synchronization, and parallel-operation configurations for generator sets.
• Supervise transformer commissioning, oil testing, and periodic maintenance in line with OEM and safety standards.
• Own preventive maintenance schedules and downtime-reduction plans for all generator and transformer assets under the portfolio.
• Coordinate major repairs, overhauls, and OEM service interventions for critical generator/transformer equipment.

2. ATS Panels, UPS & Power Distribution Systems

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of ATS/AMF panels, LV/MV distribution panels, and switchgear.
• Oversee UPS system installation, battery bank health, load testing, and runtime validation across sites.
• Ensure power redundancy configurations (N+1 / 2N as applicable) are correctly designed, implemented, and verified.
• Review single-line diagrams (SLDs) and panel schedules to confirm alignment with approved designs and BOQs.
• Drive fault diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and timely resolution of ATS/UPS/panel-related incidents.

3. Cooling System Electrical Works Supervision

• Supervise electrical works related to cooling systems (precision AC, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units) including power feeds, control wiring, and interlocks.
• Coordinate with mechanical/HVAC teams to ensure electrical scope of cooling installations is delivered on schedule and to specification.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of cooling system electrical components, including redundancy and failover checks.
• Monitor cooling system power consumption and electrical health as part of overall site reliability management.

4. Cable Trays, Cable Laying & Containment Works

• Supervise design and installation of cable tray systems, containment routes, and cable management infrastructure across sites.
• Oversee power and control cable laying, termination, and testing in line with approved drawings and industry standards.
• Ensure proper cable segregation, labeling, bending radius, and load capacity compliance across all installations.
• Review as-built drawings and cable schedules for accuracy prior to project closeout.
• Coordinate cable works sequencing with civil, mechanical, and other MEP trades to avoid site conflicts.

5. Overall Project & Site Supervision

• Provide overall project supervision on assigned sites where required — coordinating across electrical scopes (generators, transformers, ATS/UPS, cooling, cabling) as a single point of technical accountability.
• Track project timelines, manpower deployment, and material availability to ensure on-schedule delivery.
• Liaise with Project Management, clients, and consultants to resolve site-level technical and coordination issues.
• Conduct site walkthroughs, punch-list reviews, and readiness checks ahead of testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Escalate scope, schedule, or resource risks to the Manager – Technical & Projects in a timely manner.

6. Team Leadership & Vendor Coordination

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate performance of Assistant Managers, Site Supervisors, and technicians engaged in Raw Power works.
• Coordinate with OEM vendors, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers for generators, transformers, ATS/UPS, and cabling materials.
• Plan manpower deployment and resource allocation across concurrent Raw Power project sites.
• Identify training needs and build team capability on generator, transformer, UPS, and cabling best practices.

7. Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce QA/QC checkpoints across generator, transformer, ATS/UPS, cooling-electrical, and cabling works, including FAT/SAT documentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols — LOTO, PPE, and permit-to-work — for all Raw Power installation and maintenance activities.
• Maintain compliance with applicable standards (IEC, NEC, PEC, NFPA) and internal HSE policies across all site works.
• Investigate incidents/near-misses related to Raw Power systems and drive corrective and preventive actions.

8. Documentation, Budgeting & Reporting

• Maintain technical documentation including test reports, as-built drawings, completion certificates, and asset registers.
• Track budgets, material consumption, and cost variances for Raw Power work packages across the portfolio.
• Provide periodic progress reports and escalation summaries to the Manager – Technical & Projects.
• Support proposal development and technical submittals for Raw Power-related scopes of work.
