We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer (Supervisor - MEP) to oversee the development of our Tier 3 Data Center infrastructure in Karachi. The ideal candidate will manage the installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring they meet Tier 3 Data Center standards and project timelines.

  • Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements for MEP systems.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.

Job Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering field.
  • Professional certifications in MEP systems management or data center operations are preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a data center or similar critical environment.
  • Duties & Responsibilities

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor (MEP) to oversee the development of Data Center infrastructure in Karachi. The ideal candidate will manage the installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and project timelines.


      • Supervise and manage the installation and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, power distribution, and plumbing.
      • Ensure compliance with Tier 3 Data Center standards and industry best practices during the development phase.
      • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of MEP installations.
      • Review and follow MEP system designs, plans, and specifications.
      • Monitor the progress of MEP installation activities and ensure adherence to project schedules.
      • Conduct quality control inspections of MEP systems to ensure they meet design specifications and standards.
      • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to MEP installations.
      • Maintain detailed documentation of MEP installation activities, including progress reports and incident logs.
      • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for MEP installation activities.
      • Assist in budget planning and cost control for MEP installations and commissioning.
      • Train and mentor junior staff on MEP systems and project management procedures.
      • Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards related to MEP systems.
      • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support the overall development of the data center.

      Reporting Responsibilities (Daily, Weekly & Monthly)

      • Daily Reporting:
        Filling of Timesheets of Fortek's CMS, Supervision of Daily Data Center Infrastructure Development activities. Monitor and supervise MEP system installation activities on-site.

        Weekly Reporting:
        Review progress reports and ensure adherence to project timelines.

        Monthly Reporting:
        Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
