Job Description:
The Senior Manager – Projects (IT Infrastructure) will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT infrastructure and data center-related projects including design, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical systems. The role requires strong expertise in project management, IT infrastructure (Data Centers, Networks, Servers, Power & Cooling, Security Systems), vendor management, and team leadership to ensure seamless project execution within defined time, budget, and compliance frameworks.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Telecom, or Computer Engineering.
PMP/Prince2 or equivalent project management certification and/or CDCP / CDCS / CDCE preferred.
Strong technical understanding of MEP systems, Networks, Servers, Storage, and IT/Facility Security Systems.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Critical & analytical thinking
Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
Required experience:
7+ years of project management experience with at least 5 years in IT infrastructure / data center projects.
Duties & Responsibilities

· Project Planning:
o Lead end-to-end IT infrastructure projects from design to handover.
o Define project scope, objectives, budgets, and timelines.
o Ensure delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters.
· Infrastructure & Technical Oversight:
o Manage deployment of IT, Networking, MEP, and Civil infrastructure for data centers and enterprise projects.
o Supervise installation and commissioning of UPS, Generators, HVAC, Cabling, BMS/SCADA, Fire Suppression & Security Systems.
o Ensure redundancy, scalability, and operational efficiency in infrastructure design.
· Compliance & Quality Assurance:
o Ensure projects meet Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ISO, NFPA, and local regulatory standards.
o Conduct site audits, quality checks, and FAT/SAT testing.
o Maintain accurate project documentation and client handover reports.
· Financial & Vendor Management:
o Prepare budgets, forecasts, and control expenditures.
o Negotiate with vendors and contractors for optimal costs and quality.
o Approve invoices and ensure compliance with financial controls.
· Stakeholder Management:
o Act as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
o Conduct regular review meetings and communicate project updates.
o Resolve escalations and manage risks effectively.
· Team Leadership:
o Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
o Assign tasks, review progress, and provide mentorship.
o Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Risk Management:
o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid project setbacks.
o Address challenges promptly to maintain project progress.
· Communication:
o Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and other teams involved. Provide regular progress reports and address concerns or questions.
· Problem Resolution:
o Act as the point of contact for resolving issues related to the Project. Use expertise to find innovative solutions to challenges that arise during the Project.
Reporting Responsibilities

Daily Tasks:
• Own & Team’s Timesheets review & approval
• Monitor project execution and address technical/operational issues.

• Conduct stakeholder and client meetings with progress updates.
• Review budget utilization against planned spend.
• Inspect site progress and ensure compliance with safety/quality standards.
Monthly Tasks:
• Submit consolidated project performance reports.
• Conduct financial review, compliance audits, and quality testing.
• Evaluate team performance and update management on KPIs.
