Duties & Responsibilities

A rider's main job is to collect or deliver packages in a safe & timely manner. He is Responsible to perform different assigned activities in office or at site.
Rider's Responsibilities:
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to project sites or assigned delivery location in a safe and timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Collect or make payments for items when needed.
- Perform the assigned tasks by following the most efficient & economical routes and time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries e.g. Delivery Challan (DC) etc.
- Procure necessary items and materials as per company requirements.
- Maintain records of procurement transactions and update procurement databases.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best value for the company.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Handle administrative tasks related to procurement, such as preparing purchase orders and invoices.
- Details and Specs collection from Requesting Team to ensure correct items are procured in first place.
- Follow up on Warranty Claims (where applicable).
- Assist in Inventory management tasks as needed.
Providing excellent customer service during deliveries and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Reporting Responsibilities

• Summarize daily procurement activities, including items procured, quantities, and any challenges faced.
• Note any urgent procurement needs or issues that require immediate attention.
• Highlight any significant updates or developments related to ongoing procurement projects.
• Provide an overview of procurement activities conducted throughout the week, including purchases made, deliveries received, and any delays encountered.
• Outline any emerging trends or patterns in procurement requirements.
• Identify any potential cost-saving opportunities or areas for process improvement.
