Job Description:

The Manager Network Solutions will lead both pre-sales and post-sales technical operations for enterprise network, data center, and security solutions. The role requires strong solution design capability (HLD/LLD), customer engagement skills, and hands-on expertise with routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and data center deployments. This position manages a technical team and ensures successful delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business goals, including complex rollouts involving more than 100 nodes across multiple sites.

    • Routing and Switching: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, SD-WAN

    • Security: Next-Gen Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Huawei), VPN, WAF

    • Wireless: Enterprise Wi-Fi planning and deployment (Cisco, Ruckus, UBNT)

    • Data Center: Deployment of virtualization, compute, storage, high availability, and DR

    • Cloud Networking: AWS / Azure networking components

    • Network Monitoring and Documentation: SolarWinds, PRTG, Visio, ticketing tools

    • Certifications: CCNP or equivalent is mandatory, CCIE (Written or Lab), Fortinet NSE 4–7, AWS/Azure Cloud Certification, ITIL Foundation are preferred. 


    Required experience:
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in network design, implementation, and security operations, including at least 3–5 years in a managerial or lead technical role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities:

    Pre-Sales

    • Engage customers to identify and understand business and technical requirements.

    • Develop solution proposals, technical documentation, BoQs, and RFP responses.

    • Design High-Level (HLD) and Conceptual Architectures for complex network and security projects.

    • Support the Sales Team in client meetings, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs).

    • Maintain strong vendor and distributor relationships for solution roadmaps, certifications, and pricing support.

    Post-Sales / Operations

    • Lead implementation of enterprise network, security, and data center solutions.

    • Oversee multi-site deployments involving 100+ network nodes including routers, switches, and firewalls.

    • Prepare detailed Low-Level Designs (LLDs), configuration guides, and migration plans.

    • Manage project delivery, timelines, SLAs, and ensure adherence to governance and change management protocols.

    • Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for escalated incidents and develop preventive measures.

    • Supervise data center deployments including racks, cabling, switching fabrics, virtualization, and hybrid cloud integration.

    Team Management

    • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the Network Engineering & Security Team to achieve performance goals.

    • Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and customer-centric delivery.

    • Identify skills gaps and arrange relevant training or certifications to enhance team capabilities.

    Technical Expertise

    • Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, SD-WAN.

    • Security: NGFWs (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Huawei), VPNs, WAFs, IPS/IDS.

    • Wireless: Enterprise Wi-Fi solutions (Cisco, Ruckus, Ubiquiti).

    • Data Center: Virtualization, compute, storage, clustering, and DR solutions.

    • Cloud Networking: AWS and Azure connectivity, hybrid architectures.

    • Monitoring & Tools: SolarWinds, PRTG, ManageEngine, Visio, Service Desk/ticketing tools.

Reporting Responsibilities


  • Daily Tasks: Monitor and report on ongoing project progress, network incidents, and team task updates.

    Weekly Tasks: Review project milestones, SLA compliance, and client escalations; submit performance summary to Line Manager.

    Monthly Tasks: Present comprehensive reports on project delivery performance, network health trends, resource utilization, and team KPIs.
